Cardiff GP

WOW what an experience that was. First I would like to thank John Lauder, Colin Lewis and everyone else involved in the Cardiff event for making it a memorable one.

Only myself and Richard May attended from the Newport camp. We both met a lot of people, had a lot of fun and had our arses kicked by some outstanding players. I would personally like to thank Manfred for helping me with my game whilst kicking my arse 6-0, Dave Russel for letting me score (don't say you didn't) and Sam Curtis for losing his rag and missing 5 shots, thus saving me further humiliation. 

This is an appeal to help a fair size city get a respectable football team. For those who don't know Newport is right next door to Cardiff and where they have a Championship team, we are floating at the bottom end of the table in the Conference South. Please, if you have a spare 50-100 million pounds just lying there in your bank account gathering dust think about buying a football team....our football team. We were thrown out of the Football league 20 years ago because our finances were not in order and our fans were the most violent in the football league....but thats history now, so PLEASE look into your heart and reach into your pocket and give our City the Football team it deserves.
